Art by the Glass 2014

On 11 March 2014 we held our first Art and Wine Evening – ‘Art by the Glass’ – at the fabulous old Land Bank Building, QV54, in Queen Victoria Street, Cape Town. 23 local artists exhibited their artworks, including Gavin Collins and Mel Elliot, and Iona, Joostenberg, First Sighting and Strandveld wine estates kept everyone happy with tastings of their wares. There was a delicious spread of food partly donated by Rialto Foods, which was beautifully prepared by Clare Bock and her team at Appetite Catering.

 
Over 200 of our supporters enjoyed the evening while viewing the art and listening to jazz pianist Joe Bolton. We sold 28 works of art in three hours and raised over R32,000.
